ZTE has really stepped up its game, and one of their latest flagships is the ZTE Nubia Z7. It’s one hell of a phone, and we got to get some hands-on time with it at CES 2015. Are you looking to get yourself a powerful photo-focused device? Let’s see if the ZTE Nubia Z7 is the phone for you.
Let’s start by taking a look at the design. This phone is really good looking and very well built. ZTE has done a great job with the design. The clean back with bright red accent makes the device look very different, while the minimalistic front gives it a very clean look.
It definitely feels like this phone can take a bit of a beating, while it also manages to look very sexy. Looks are not all that matter, though. What is inside this bad boy?
Specs include a 5.5-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, Android 4.4, a 13 MP rear-facing camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery.
Talking about the camera – those who like having power over their shots will love this boy. ZTE compares its camera software to a DSLR experience. I wouldn’t say that is exactly the truth, but I will tell you ZTE has come up with a great camera experience.
You can move around different dials to control white balance, focus and light. It’s really fun and helps you take shots the way you want them, instead of having to edit them afterwards.
You can get this bad boy for $699 now, but keep in mind that it costs $699. That is not really cheap, but the phone offers great specs, a great design and camera features to throw around. Not to mention, it does support dual-SIM functionality. That is always a plus.
