We are kicking off CES 2015 with some of our first content from the show. We have been eager to bring you all the content you need to start off the year the right way, so let’s start by showing you ZTE’s new affordable device for the US market.
This is the ZTE Grand X Max Plus, a device that will definitely give other affordable smartphones a run for their money. The device is coming straight to Cricket Wireless for only $199.99, but how much will two Benjamins give you in this case?
Let’s go through the specs together.
ZTE Grand X Max Plus specs
- 6-inch HD (720p) display
- 2 GB of RAM
- 16 GB of internal storage
- Micro SD (up to 32 GB)
- 13 MP rear-facing camera
- 5 MP front-facing camera
- 4G LTE speeds
- 3200 mAh battery
We went through the device and it is actually not bad at all! The construction could definitely use a bit of work, but we can’t be too picky about that. For the price, it is actually one hell of a device.
Going into the software, you will find a pretty simple UI. Nothing to write home about, really, which is a great thing for those who don’t like heavily-customized interfaces. The killer features here are the huge screen and the powerful cameras.
Interested? You will be able to buy the ZTE Grand X Max Plus starting January 9th, straight from Cricket Wireless. Who is taking the bait? Not a bad phone for $200, to be honest.
