The Zano drone has just finished being funded in Kickstarter, blasting through its £125,000 and reaching over £2 million. Quite an accomplishment for a drone manufacturer, and that is because this drone is as user-friendly as they get.

This year was the year of drones at CES, but very few cater to the selfie lover. This just goes to show us how important selfies have become, starting new trends and opening new markets.

The Zeno drone is a little flying robot that literally has one main purpose for existence – it will take the perfect selfie. The quadcopter can break the selfie chains that force you to be at a certain distance from the lens.

Say goodbye to the dreaded showing arm in your images. Now you can play with angles, distances and take your selfies just the way you really want them. But let’s step back from this niche term. This is more than just “selfies”. It is aerial photography in your hands.

Aerial photography is currently very expensive and complex, this smart device changes everything by bringing you a simple configuration that most people can afford. With devices like the Zano drone, we step into the real future of drones.

If you didn’t catch the Kickstarter campaign, make sure to go over the flyzano.com and check out the dronw. You can get it for £169.95 (or $299). Check out our video for all the details and let us know if you are signing up for one of these!
