Yezz is known for its super affordable Windows Phone devices. These gadgets are often priced very low, but come with pretty fair specs and performance that won’t exactly leave you lagging behind. We took a good look at the new Yezz Billy 5S LTE at CES 2015, so let’s show it to you.
For starters, let’s tell you that this phone will launch for only $199 come Q2 or Q3. Yes, that would be off-contract, making this a very good deal for those who want a good Windows 10 phone without paying too much.
Specs include a 5-inch 720p display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of ROM and 13MP/5MP cameras. Not bad at all, and the phone works just as expected. It is smooth, just like any other Windows Phone out there.
The version we tested was a prototype, so it’s a little rough around the edges (literally). The finalized version will run the full Windows 10 and come with a better fit body, though.
It’s hard for a phone like this to compete in such a fierce market. Yes, the phone is pretty cheap at $199, but let’s compare it to a competitor. The ZenPhone 2 comes at the same price point. Of course, ASUS is a much more well-known brand, and the ZenPhone’s lowest configuration does carry better specs than the Yezz Billy 5S LTE.
Regardless, the phone is very nice. And if you like Windows Phone, it may be a great option for you. Are you thinking of getting one?
