Just like the Prestigio MultiPhone 8500, the Yezz Billy 4.7 comes from one of Microsoft’s OEM partners. It is a mid-range device coming to the market in a couple months. It does come with Windows Phone 8.1, and performance is pretty good. Let’s take a closer look.
The device is very thin (7.2 mm), light and good-looking, especially considering it’s not meant to be a high-quality smartphone. All looks aside, the Yezz Billy does bring some good competition to its fellow Windows Phone devices, though.
The Yezz Billy is based on a 1 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and is sporting 1 GB of RAM, as well as 8 GB of internal storage. These specs are still very good for a Windows Phone 8.1, which performs well even without powerful specs
The 4.7-inch 720p screen will offer pretty good resolution, considering the price. It’s an IPS panel, so colors are accurate and viewing angles are optimal. Cameras come with 13 MP and 2.1 MP sensors and battery life should be pretty good with that 2,400 mAh unit.
All of this should cost about 229 Euros, and it will be released in various markets, “in a few months”.
