We have one more Xiaomi product to show you! Meanwhile, T-Mobile is introducing its new prepaid plans and the ZTE Blade S6 is showing all its stuff online.

Xiaomi Mi Box Mini – it’s not power adapter!

Xiaomi introduced its new Mi Note and Mi Note Pro smartphones yesterday, but hat wasn’t it. If you don’t speak Chinese, you would have mistaken their last announcement for a charger of sorts, as it is shaped like one. You would have been wrong, as the little device is actually an Android powered streaming box.

Yes, that tiny little charger-looking thing is actually a smart device, with all the components you need in order tor un Android. The unit comes with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, bluetooth, WiFi, DTS sound and more.

The real kicker is that it will only cost 199 Yuan, which is equal to about $32 USD! It is one hell of a deal, really.

Opinion: Talk about keeping your living room entertainment uncluttered. This is pretty much a power brick and smart device in a single package, requiring only the HDMI cable going directly to your TV set.

T-Mobile announces new Simply Prepaid plans, starting at $40

T-Mobile has just announced its new Simply Prepaid plans, and as their name entails… they are simple. These plans start at $40 and go up to $60, all offering you unlimited calls, texts and data. The only difference is the amount of 4G LTE data you can use.

You can pay $40 for 1 GB of 4G LTE data. Meanwhile, paying $50 will give yuo a 3 GB 4G LTE allowance and paying $60 will get you 5 GB of LTE. Simple, right? Beware, these won’t give you all the cool features post-paid users get, including international data roaming, rollover data, free music streaming and the like.

Opinion: These plans are great for those who want a more seamless wireless experience. They are simple and bring no commitment at all. Not to mention, the plans are pretty darn cheap!

Internet retailer leaks the ZTE Blade S6

We are expecting the ZTE Blade S6 announcement anytime now, but retailer GearBest has jumped the gun and is giving us a bit of information on their site. For starters, we get a nice press image of what the phone will look like. Spoiler: it looks a lot like an iPhone!

Other details are scarce. We just know the phone will come with a 5-inch display, Android 5.0 Lollipop and 4G capabilities. GearBest swears they wl be pre-selling the device from January 29th to February 8th, which means some more details should come soon.

Opinion: The phone does look good, but I wish they had followed their design language. Their phones have been very unique lately. We’ll have to see more detailed images, though.
