Verizon is still working on bringing the Nexus 6 to its network, leak reveals Lenovo Vibe Z3 Pro and the Alcatel Onetouch Idol Mini goes on sale.
The Nexus 6 may be hard to find, but it has already reached many carriers (even if in limited quantities). Meanwhile, Verizon has been working on bringing the Nexus 6 to its network since the device’s announcement.
It’s a sad story for us Verizon subscribers, but our agonies may soon be coming to and end. Verizon is now teasing the Nexus 6 as “coming soon” in its official website. Interested? You will have to wait even more. At least we have something, though! And you can even sign up to get updates from Verizon.
Opinion: I still love the nexus 6, so I may sign up for it. It’s just sad to see that it took Verizon so long.
The latest rumors say Lenovo could have something in store for us at Mobile World Congress. A leak detailing the specs and showing some images has shown up at Weibo. Let’s jump into the details.
It’s said the Lenovo Vibe Z3 Pro will come with a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. In addition, the powerful smartphone should come with a 16 MP camera and a 3400 mAh battery.
Opinion: That is one beast of a device, especially coming from Lenovo. The Chinese firm is not known for making the most popular smartphones. I still doubt it will make it to the USA, but European and Asian users will love it!
Looking for an unlocked, affordable smartphone? You can’t get much cheaper than the Alcatel Onetouch Idol Mini, especially considering the offer the company is currently holding. The Onetouch idol Mini is selling for $99.99 until February 9th!
It’s a pretty fair discount over its usual $124.99 price point, and you get free shipping if you are an Amazon Prime member. Don’t expect to get a powerful phone for this price, though. The Idol Mini comes with a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 1700 mAh battery, Android 4.2 and a 4.3-inch 854x480p display.
Opinion: This would be a great phone to buy for your non-techies. Or maybe you just need a secondary phone for traveling? Whatever the case may be, you can’t go wrong with the bang you get for your buck.
