The ASUS ZenFone 2 is looking to be the king of affordable smartphones, but that doesn’t mean ASUS is slowing down on other products. The company has just announced the ASUS ZenFone C for the Taiwanese market, a super affordable smartphone with fair specs.
This phone comes packed with a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, dual-SIM capabilities, a 5 MP camera and a 2100 mAh battery. All for only NT$2990, which equals to about $95 USD!
Opinion: This is a very neat device for the price. It would be great for the casual users who don’t need to much power from their devices.
Xiaomi’s Malaysian Facebook page is teasing a little something today. It’s an image that says “Akan Datang” (or “Next”) and shows a pixelated image below it. It wasn’t hard to tell what it was, though.
We are willing to bet the pixelated device is the Xiaomi MiPad, an amazing tablet that is affordable and comes with specs to compete with the best of the best. These include a 7.9-inch 2048x1536p display, an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and more.
Opinion: Will any of our fellow Malaysian geeks be trying to sign up for this one? I would if I could! You best be fast, though. Remember Xiaomi sells out in minutes, if not seconds.
