T-Mobile is sharing the goods while Xiaomi and Microsoft look to bring us some awesome new products. Let’s dive right into today’s morning news!
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are looking to be some awesome devices! They are fast, have great screens and Samsung has finally upped its build quality game. Need more of an incentive? Those of you in T-Mobile will be glad to hear today’s news.
If you purchase a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge from T-Mobile, you will get a whole year of Netflix for free! More details will come once the device reaches its release.
Opinion: This is more than enough of an incentive. In fact, this may very well have some people switching to T-Mobile. And since T-Mobile now pays your ETFs and outstanding device installment plans, there is nothing to lose.
Xiaomi is turning 5 years old next month, and they simply could not let the date come without some good news. While they are not revealing much, the company is teasing a new product launch to come on March 31st.
What is it? OR what are they? Xiaomi is definitely leaving the possibility open for multiple products to be revealed.
Opinion: Xiaomi deals with a bunch of types of devices, so this could really be anything. Phones? Tablets? TV-related products? Maybe even a smartwatch?
It was odd to see the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 launch on its own. We were expecting a smaller, less powerful version to be announced next to it. There were also rumors of a “Mini” version coming, but that never came to fruition. What gives?
The latest rumors say Microsoft is still planning a different new-generation Surface tablet. It’s said to be a successor to the Surface 2, which runs RT, but the new version wouldn’t come with the limited software. It’s said to come with Windows 8.1, a fan-less construction and a less powered processor (possibly an Intel Atom or Core M).
Opinion: It’s nice to see that Microsoft is moving away from RT for its non-Pro line, but we still would like to see a smaller tablet with enough power to get real work done. It seems unreasonable that in order to get a flagship Surface tablet you have to go with 12 inches.
