Design and build quality
Right off the bat you can tell this is a very nice tablet. It features that classic Sony design, with sharp edges and a very square body. I happen to love the back, as its matte surface is very nice and keeps fingerprints away.
It’s also important to note this tablet has IP67/68 rating that will make sure to keep your device safe. Of course, this also means all ports are covered, which can be a bit of a hassle when you are trying to access them.
The tablet feels very good in the hand, and we can thank that to its 19:9 screen ratio. Overall, we love the way the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact looks and feels.
It can be hard to tell just how well a device performs when you first start using it. The more you add apps and processes to your device, the laggier it gets. It’s also important to note benchmarks don’t give you the be all end all answer to how good a tablet is, but it gives you an idea.
In benchmarks, the device wasn’t a stunning champion, but it did fairly well considering the specs. It’s up there with the best devices around, so that tells you something.
We are getting ready to bring you the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, but we thought a quick look would be nice. Overall, it’s a great tablet, but we have definitely found some downsides to it. With that in mind, look forward for a full review coming very soon from our very own Nicole Scott.
