Our quest for the latest and greatest gadgets continues as we soar through MWC’s second day. Many of you know we are great fans of what Sony does, so we simply couldn’t miss what they had to show us. We have already given you a look at the Xperia Z4 Tablet and the Xperia E4g. Now let’s shift our focus towards the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua!
This actually happens to be the most powerful smartphone Sony announced at MWC. This is mostly because there was no Xperia Z4 announced. The M4 Aqua is actually considered a mid-end smartphone. Let’s jump into the juicy details s you can better understand what this is all about.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua specs
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- 5-inch 1280x720p display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor
- 13 MP rear-facing camera
- 5 MP front-facing camera
- 145.5 x 72.6 x 7.3 mm
- 136 grams
- 2400 mAh battery
In terms of design and build quality, this phone definitely looks as good as the big kids in the block. It looks pretty similar to the high-end Sony devices, which really says a lot. The specs inside are not really that bad either, as you can see. Thankfully, these good specs translate to a rather pleasant experience. The device is snappy and we never noticed any hiccups or lag.
It’s a good phone for those who don’t need the best of the best, but also won’t do with one of the cheap low-end handsets. And if you happen to live an active lifestyle, your best bet would be to go with something water and dust proof like the M4 Aqua.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua launches in the Spring for around 299 Euros. Not bad at all, right?
