With the Sony Vaio Pro 11 and Sony Vaio Pro 13, Sony has presented two of the lightest ultrabooks with the Intel Haswell CPU inside. These two Vaio ultrabooks will be available sometime in June for around 1000 euros.
Sony hosted a global press event at Computex today to show off their new Sony Vaio Pro ultrabooks. The Vaio Pro 11 has an 11.6-inch (1080p) display and thanks to its carbon-chassis, weighs only 870 grams! It has 4GB RAM and a128GB SSD. The Core i5 variant will cost you about 1099 euros and should be on sale by the middle of June.
The Core i7 version, with its 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD will cost a bit more, but it has power and style that can compete with a desktop, plus the added benefit of being super light and portable.
Sascha dearly loves his Sony Vaio’s and will be sure to tell you all about the test sample– as soon as he gets his hands on one. For now, we have a couple of short test videos as well as pics of all the specs (in German, but I’m sure you’ll get the idea) 😉
