We have been roaming the CES 2015 show floor and ran across a very interesting product at the Sony booth. Did you know the Japanese manufacturer has a smart glass? Well, they do, and it’s called the Sony SmartEyeglass Attach.
As you can see in the video, the headset is a little large, but it offers great flexibility and features. The point here is that the Smart Eyeglass Attach doesn’t really compete against popular smart glasses like Google Glass.
Sony is focusing on active users and sport players. In fact, Sony did demo an app that links the headset to a smart racket, giving you aid in improving your technique.
The device is water proof, also making it a great option for active users. And because the headset has GPS, you don’t even need to hook up to your phone to always have all your data.
Over all, it is a great product, but I believe it is a bit bulky to really be something you always wear. Instead, I believe it would be great if these were something you can pick up only when you want to get some sports and activity information.
