Today Sony presented 3 new smartphones at IFA: the Xperia T, J and V. The trio impressed a large crowd in Berlin. Here are the details:
The Xperia T is literally the James Bond phone of the bunch. It will have a 13 megapixel camera and can do full HD 1080p. The smartphone also will have a 4.6 inch HD Reality Display. Inside will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core running 1.5 GHz and 16 GB memory. As far as ports go, the T will have a micro USB, Bluetooth, HDMI, NFC and Wi-Fi.
With it’s NFC technology that Xperia T can easily share and transfer data with other Sony devices enabled with NFC. The T will be available in black, white and silver for 549 Euro and could be available for sale in the 3rd quarter of 2012. The TV Dock for the Xperia T will be available for 49 Euro in store.
The Xperia V is an LTE 4.3 inch full HD smartphone running Ice Cream Sandwich. A Qualcomm Snapdrgaon S4 dual core processor will be inside with 16 GB memory. This phone also has a 13 megapixel camera, micro USB, Bluetooth, HDMI, NFC and Wi-Fi.
The V, when connected to the TV Dock, keyboard and mouse can turn any HDTV into a multimedia master. The smartphone will come in black, pink and white for 579 Euro sometime in the 4th quarter of 2012.
The 9.2 millimeter thin Xperia J is the cheapest of the 3 phones and has the specs you’d expect from a mid-range smartphone. The J has a 4 inch display well suited for news, social media and calls. On the front is a VGA camera and on the back, 5 megapixel camera.
The J will be available in black, white, gold and pink in the 4th Quarter of 2012 for 239 Euro.
