1080p resolution is on its way out the door, with 4K and other higher definitions being adopted prolifically at a very fast pace. Sony’s newest 4K Action Cam proves jut how much 4K technology has evolved. It’s possibly the smallest 4K handycam around!
This little guy offers a Carl Zeiss lens with optical image stabilization, bringing a 170-degree field of view. It can shoot 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 120 fps and 720p at 240 frames per second.
Pretty outstanding for a camera that size, to be honest. And because it is made for active lifestyles, it can also be submerged 10 meters deep without encountering any issues.
I have to say the camera felt very good in the hand. It was small enough to be portable and amazingly easy to handle. At the same time, it was large enough to be comfortable in your hand and stable.
If you are looking to get one, it should be available in March for about $500. You can also get a bundle, which should cost $100 extra and come with a wrist-worn remote control. Don’t worry, though – you can also use the app.
