Today we have some new audio products coming from Samsung. We also have some automotive news for you, which you know we love!
Audiophiles will be happy to know Samsung has announced availability for their new high quality audio products. These include a wide range of devices for every kind of user. The tree headphone sets are named Level Over, Leven On and Level In. Their names represent the styles: over the ear, on ear and in ear.
The headsets will be priced at $349.99, $179.99 and $169.99, relatively. There is another option for $299, though. This would be a bluetooth speaker named the Level Box, for those who prefer to get loud and crazy.
You will be able to purchase all 4 products starting tomorrow at noon, from Gilt.com. You will also be able to pick it up from Samsung on the 21st, Amazon on the 20th and Best Buy on the 27th.
Opinion: I haven’t had the chance to test these devices, but Samsung is not really known for their high quality headphones. I wonder how good these will be to the keen ear.
Tesla’s fourth car finally has a name, and it has been confirmed to be the Tesla Model 3. This is said to be a smaller vehicle that can give you over 200 miles a charge. We didn’t get a chance to see the car just yet, but it’s expected to be revealed in 2016.
There were some discrepancies with the name,a s it was supposed to be called Model E at first. Ford sued them for trying to use this name, so they had to change plans. It will also be represented by its roman numerals, so it will actually be called Tesla Model III.
Opinion: Tesla’s cars are every geeks dream right now. It’s insane how far electric cars have come and we can’t wait to see what Tesla has to show us in… two years.
We will understand how driverless cars can be worrisome. What if the computer crashes? What if Google Maps gets me lost? These are only a couple of the issues we worry about, but ultimately we know Google is doing a great job at making the best of this new technology. The FBI is worried about other issues we never thought about, though.
The FBI believes these cute Google cars could be used as a lethal weapon! They mention these cars could be packed with explosives and simply sent to their destinations with no driver. In addition, they mention the ability to do things criminals nowadays can’t. To summarize, they are worried Google cars could become the perfect getaway vehicle.
Opinion: Technology can make life easier and efficient, but it will always lend itself for criminal activity as well. The FBI does accept this could bring many improvements, so at least they are not directly attacking Google’s new ventures.
