An invite sent out by Samsung for an October 11 launch event that teases a smaller product on the horizon with the headline “The size may be small” and the subheading “and so small can be big,” This reminds up of the Samsung Galaxy S3: “the next big thing is already here,” and the Nexus teaser was the phrase “something big is coming.”
The invite has the distinctive ‘S’ logo that is hand in hand with all Samsung Galaxy devices, this isn’t really out of left field since a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini has been rumoured for a few months now. Water cooler gossip has predicted the device by the end of the year and to be honest nothing else really makes sense at the moment.
The device is meant to feature a 4″ display with a 800 x 480 display, much like the original Galaxy S. It’ll apparently run on a dual-core processor and will sport a 5-megapixel camera and run Jelly Bean.
The event takes place in Germany so you know we’ll be there.
