Samsung introduced the new Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet today at CES 2014. We got a close look at the high-end, 8-inch tablet on the show floor.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a 8.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The LTE version of the tablet has the ultra fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor onboard, running at 2.3 GHz. If you don’t want LTE, Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa processor is available on the Wi-Fi only version.
The Pro 8.4 comes with 2 GB of RAM onboard and Samsung offers 16 or 32 GB of memory for the tablet. The memory is expandable via micro SD card. The Galaxy Tab Pro8.4 also includes an 8-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Although this tablet is small, it packs a large 4800 mAh battery to keep you going for a long time. In addition, the tablet runs Android 4.4 Kitkat with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI right out of the box.
