Samsung is hosting an event tomorrow where they launch the little brother to the Galaxy S3 the Galaxy S3 Mini. There has been an awful lot of speculation but now we’ve gotten the official specification and the first photo.
What we’ve learned about these official specifications shouldn’t come as much of a surprise if you’ve been following the rumors. Our source has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will come with a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display with WVGA resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera with a dedicated LED flash a VGA shooter on the front. Under the hood we’ve got 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal memory along side Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and HSPA. As expected it will be running Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean”.
The only thing that is apparently still in the air is the CPU, apparently the STE U8420 processor is still up for debate but the S3 Mini will be running a dual-core processor running at 1GHz.
