The mythical Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini has been making a big appearance online in Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavia. On Thursday Samsung will make their announcement and we’ll know once and for all if the S3 Mini is really coming our way. If these multiple listings in online stores are any indication, I’d say an S3 Mini would be very well received!
Yesterday Engadget reported that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini had appeared on a Nordic retailer’s website. The device was codenamed GT-I8190, offered blue and white color options, and versions with or without a NFC chip for around $540 and $560. Rumors have suggested a 4 inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 and a dual core processor for the Mini.
And now Roland from our German team has come across listings in Austria and Switzerland for the S3 Mini. The Mini, code named GT-I8190 in Austria, is listed on one site with a price ranging from 359 to 399 Euros. The prices vary from store to store with some as high as 549 Euro and others as low as 323 Euros.
These are of course price estimates and European ones at that, but nonetheless it will be very exciting if a 4 inch Samsung Galaxy S3 is announced for a price anywhere near the median of 350 Euros. On Thursday we’ll know for certain what the deal is with the S3 Mini. For now, what do you think of the S3 Mini?
