Roland, our man on the ground in Berlin this week, attended a Samsung Roadshow where he managed to hold a full retail version of the latest large-form factor tablet from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Check out this unboxing and hands on video. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2” tablet from Samsung made quite an impact when it was launched at CES 2014 earlier this year (don’t miss this first hands on video shot inside of a helicopter flying over the Nevada dessert…). For many commentators, this marks a further infiltration of tablets in to the notebook space, with further 12” plus devices expected for later this year.

The display on this device is truly impressive, offering a 2K resolution screen that is multi-touch capable in up to ten places (which would appear to be plenty, unless users start using their noses for navigation..lol). The larger form factor and extended pixel real-estate is an attempt to lure business users to the tablet. While app multi-tasking has been improved substantially, Samsung are also bundling their new productivity apps, as well as integrated a stylus, a big must for serious business markets.
