Samsung wouldn’t show us their new Windows 8 Smartphone, the ATIV S for a hands-on video during IFA 2012, but our colleagues from Nomobile.ru obviously had more luck. They got their hands on Samsung’s new Windows 8 phone and took it for a spin.
The Samsung ATIV S is the first Windows Phone 8 for the Korean company and should be on the market rather soon. Visually, the device looks like a blend of the Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy S3. The form of the device is similar to the S2, but the metallic look of the backside reminds of the S3.
The Super AMOLED HD Display has a resolution of 1280×720 and is 4.8 inches. The sample Nomobile got their hands on had no battery since Microsoft doesn’t want to show off too much just yet. We obviously don’t know the specifications yet, but we can see form these pictures that their is a micro SD slot.
