Qualcomm continues to set the standard for mobile processing, with the majority of the market now in its pocket. The competitors try to catch up as we all look at what is coming from Qualcomm in the future.

The Snapdragon 805 is awesome, but Qualcomm promises an “end-to-end ultra HD processor” out of the Snapdragon 810. We are at Qualcomm’s yearly developer conference, Uplinq, where we were glad to be among the first to see this processor in action.

Qualcomm SVP Raj Talluri gave us a quick demo of the Snapdragon 810 rendering a vehicle customizing software. The details, glares, shadows and textures are simply amazing. You get to see some of this in the video below, so give it a look to see the power upcoming smartphones and tablets will feature.

It’s no surprise the Snapdragon 810 can perform so well. The 20 nm chip is offering a true upgrade over predecessors. This octa-core chip features 64-bit architecture with power and support to keep your experience smooth and feature-full. The Adreno 430 GPU and display engine can even handle 4K resolution.

4K Ultra HD on-device display concurrent with 4K Ultra HD output to HDTV 1080p and 4K external displays.

The chip also supports USB 2.0/3.0, BT 4.1, Qualcomm VIVE 2-stream 802.11n/ac with MU-MIMO, up to 55 MP cameras,4K recording, Quick Charge and LPDDR4 1600MHz RAM. It is truly a beauty of processing power.
