Smartphones are becoming super affordable, yet they are as powerful as the high-end devices from just a couple years ago. We can thank processor innovation for this, as these chips continue to become more capable and affordable.
Qualcomm changed the world of affordable smartphones with the Snapdragon 400 series, and the 410 is their latest mid-end processor. We know many of you will be buying phones with this specific chip and are wondering just how good it is.
Well, it turns out to be one amazing chip, at least for the price. Don’t take our word for it, though. We like to let evidence speak for itself, so we thought we should share a series of benchmarks we performed on the Huawei Y550. Let’s jump right into the results.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 benchmarks (through Huawei Y550)
- AnTuTu 4.5.1: 21428
- Quadrant: 11458
- GFXBench 3.0: 14,6/5,4
- 3DMark: 4639
- Vellamo 3.1: 1925/720
- Octane 2.0: 2752
- SunSpider 1.0.2: 1333,4 ms
As you can see in the video, these benchmarks are a pretty good upgrade over the Snapdragon 400. In addition, some of these benchmarks put the Huawei Y550 right next to devices like the HTC One M7, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S4. That is quite outstanding for such an affordable phone!
