Verizon is ready to bring you the latest from Samsung and HTC. Meanwhile, Motorola has an awesome discount and Facebook launches a new app.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 now up for pre-order
Verizon took a while to join the party, but they have finally made the latest devices from Samsung and HTC available. Yes, we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the HTC One M9.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 starts at $599.99 off-contract or $199.99 on-contract. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit pricier at $699.999 off-contract or $299.99 on-contract. The HTC One M9 is also reasonably priced at $599.99 or $199.99, accordingly.
Opinion: These all launch n April 10th, which goes right in line with all other carriers. This means you are really not losing anything here, you just had to wait a bit more to put your name on your next device. Are you guys getting any of these? I am skipping this round, but these are all awesome devices. You can check out our reviews on the HTC and Samsung devices, though. Just in case you need to know more about them before making your choice.
Save $140 on a new Moto X
That selfie stick may have been a pranks, but Motorola is not joking about the discount they announced. You can get yourself a brand new Moto X and enjoy a $140 discount if you get it before April 2 at 10:59 PM CT. You can also get 30% off any accessories, and free shipping is included!
Motorola knows it’s not easy cashing out with a phone worth hundreds of dollars, so they are also giving you the chance to sign up to get a promo code. This will allow you to get $140 off on a Moto X until April 16th.
Opinion: The Moto X is one hell of a device, so I wouldn’t think twice about taking advantage of this deal if I was looking for an unlocked smartphone. It’s powerful, fast, simple and very resourceful. Not to mention, you can really design it to be yours.
Facebook launches Riff app
Facebook has released a brand new app that will allow you to collaborate with your friends and make videos together. You can start making a video, on which your friends can build upon by adding their own clips. It’s a simple concept and should get your friendly creative juices flowing.
Riff is available from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You can even see a sample here. Check it out and let us know how you like it!
Opinion: This is not an April Fools joke… right?
