OnePlus also wants to show you their device won’t bend easily. Meanwhile Moto X reaches another US carrier and the Nexus 6 may be coming to Verizon.
We have seen the OnePlus headquarters. Their offices are spacious, full of plants, clean and bright. Not all of their establishments are as beautiful, though. There’s places where OnePlus tortures its phones and they are letting us in (virtually).
The video below shows how OnePlus tests its devices for durability. This is in response to the popular iPhone 6 Plus #bendgate fiasco, which came to light recently. Apple and Samsung have also given users a peek inside similar establishments.
Opinion: The OnePlus One is one solid device, so you have nothing to fear. The video is definitely interesting, though, but it’s also a bit saddening. They are torturing phones while so many of us are praying for an invite!
The new Moto X is one of the hottest devices around, so US Cellular wasn’t late to announce the device is now available through their network. You can have it for only $99.99 on a 2-year contract or $480 off-contract.
Do keep in mind only the black version is available for now. The bamboo and leather versions will be coming later in October. Those who do want to sign up for this version can do so at the US Cellular website.
Opinion: This is definitely one of my favorite phones right now. You can’t help but fall in love with it once you use it. Will you be signing up?
Anonymous sources claim Verizon is ready to welcome the Nexus 6 to its line-up, something we weren’t quite expecting. Verizon is not one to play very well with Nexus devices. These often don’t come with CDMA compatibility.
The device is rumored to have a 5.92-inch QHD screen, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and 13MP/2MP cameras.
Opinion: It will be a good acquisition to consider, so let’s keep our eyes open. I would definitely like to buy one of these. We all know how much Edgar loves his large screens!
