Chinese manufacturers are taking over this afternoon’s news roundup with a series of announcements. Keep reading to get all the details!
OnePlus is no longer new to the audio market, as they announced a pair of affordable headphones last month. Today they are here to show they are dedicated to sound quality with the JBL E1+ headphones.
The Chinese manufacturer has partnered with JBL to release these great headphones. These are no regular headphones, they offer a full audio experience with 22 kHz highs and ultra-low 10 Hz frequencies.
The headphones also looks great, with bright colors and flat cables that will help them stay untangled. Of course, you also get full smartphone control buttons for answering calls, adjusting volume, skipping tracks and even taking photos.
The JBL E1+ headset will become available later this month for $39.99.
Opinion: That’s definitely not a bad price for a quality set of headphones. JBL has a good reputation behind them, so these are definitely headphones to keep in mind.
The Huawei Honor 6 is a beast of a smartphone, but it seems the manufacturer doesn’t think it’s enough for some users out there. This is why they have announced the Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition, a powered up version that will rock your socks.
The processor has been replaced with a more powerful 2.0 GHz Kirin 928 chip, which carries CAT 6 LTE support and a Mali T628MP4 GPU. Other specs stay similar, featuring 3 GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1080p display, 32 GB of internal storage, Android 4.4 and a 3100 mAh battery.
Opinion: Ultimately, this is simply a boost in processing power, which is always very welcomed.
Don’t want to buy the Huawei Ascend Mate2 from the manufacturer’s site or Amazon? Now you can have the device from popular retailer Newegg. The online seller is offering it for $300, which goes right in line with the competition.
The phone is quite capable for the price, and it’s mostly known for its insane battery life. Its battery is so strong it can literally charge other devices, something Huawei isn’t shy about touting.
Opinion: Talking about charging other devices, Newegg is throwing in a free reverse charge cable for now. Jump on it, guys!
