Today’s afternoon news are quite interesting. Sling TV finally reaches Android TV, Adobe is killing one of its services and Razer announced the cooled mouse pad ever.
Have you been hoping to watch Sling TV on your Android TV device? You are in luck, as the live TV streaming service today has announced support for Google’s TV platform. Don’t have an Android TV device? More good news your way.
Sling TV is actually giving you a 50% discount on the Nexus Player if you pre-pay for 3 months of Sling TV service. Pretty neat deal if you are already looking into getting an Android TV and needed an incentive to join Sling TV!
Opinion: I don’t know what’s going on with the link to the purchase site, but I can’t seem to access it. Why don’t you guys go ahead and test it out? Let us know if it worked for you.
Photoshop Touch was an amazing app when it was first introduced. It offered an official alternative to the full desktop application, for those who had to work more on-the-go. Adobe Creative Cloud apps have been making their way to mobile devices, though, and the company’s portfolio continues to grow and improve.
Is there a need for Photoshop Touch now? Well, Adobe doesn’t seem to think so. They are shutting down the application come May 28th, after which it will no longer be available for purchase and no more updates will come to it. Those who have been using it can continue to do so, though.
Opinion: Adobe also took the time to emphasize they are working on something related to Android, so you know Adobe isn’t really done with mobile. They are just taking another route.
I have to say I am a huge fan of Razer. They make some of the best-looking gaming accessories and devices around, and they happen to be great gaming products too. But not only gamers love their products, they are so gorgeous even regular users purchase them happily, and I can’t see anyone not liking the new Razer Firefly.
This mouse pad can glow in 16.8 million customizable colors. It’s not all about looks, though. This thing has a hard surface and a micro-textured finish, which will boost your gaming abilities. It’s no usual mouse pad, and its price is even more special at $59.99.
Opinion: It probably wouldn’t be the best financial decision, but I really want one of these! I can’t believe Razer. Everything they do is so geeky, flashy and pretty.
