Today is all about the LG G4, but that is not the only news the Korean manufacturer has for you. There’s a bunch more to learn surrounding both G4 and non-related news.
One thing we didn’t talk much about during our LG G4 coverage is when and where you can purchase it. Worry not, the phone is well on its way already. You won’t have to wait much longer, especially if you are in Korea, where it goes on sale tomorrow (April 29th).
Meanwhile, those of us in the USA have to wait a bit longer. Only T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular have stepped forward and given us a June release window. LG also states the phone will come to AT&T, but there’s no word on pricing and availability. Europeans should also expect it on June.
Opinion: So about 1-2 months. It’s time to start playing the waiting game!
The LG G4 is an amazingly gorgeous device. I would personally consider it a sin to cover it up with a case, but if you are going to do it, you might as well cover it up with a case that does more than simply protect your phone.
Mophie is making a Juice Pack for the LG G4. It will be carrying a 3450 mAh battery. To put that into perspective, the phone itself carries a 3000 mAh battery. This case more than doubles your phone’s battery life!
You can now pre-order this bad boy for $99.95.
Opinion: I am using a Mophie Juice Pack with my current phone and I can honestly say I don’t want to go back to a regular case. You never quite grasp the importance of these cases until you can go up to 3 days without charging your phone.
Looking for a brand new smart watch? The LG Watch Urbane is likely the best-looking Android Wear watch around, and it has finally hit the US market. You can buy it from the Google Store, Verizon or AT&T for $349.
Opinion: This is one hell of a smart watch, but good luck competing with the Apple Watch at that price point. Seriously….
Devices come, devices go. Such is the cycle of tech life, and today is the LG G Watch’s time to walk out. The Google Store is no longer selling this smart watch.
Opinion: It will likely disappear from other retailers soon, too, so make sure you get it fast if you still want it.
LG is making quite a mess over at the Google Store. They released a new watch, discontinued another and discounted the G Watch R. All in a matter of hours.
Previously priced at $300, the LG G Watch R can now be had for $250, a price that may seem more enticing to customers on a budget. The Android Wear device was among the first to come with a circular design, which is very popular among geeks.
Opinion: This is a good option for those who want a super good looking Android Wear device, yet don’t want to shell out an extra $100 for the Watch Urbane. Pretty neat deal, and it came at a good time!
