This shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone, but the new Lumia 920 has officially been announced and it will feature wireless charging, the latest PureView technology and a Qualcomm S4 processor. The new PureView camera is the devices driving feature, we’ve got the full details on that over here, but the quick highlights are the “floating sensor” according to Nokia that means it can create image stabilized images when it comes to video.
The device has a 4.5-inch curved glass screen which they claim has the fastest LCD display shipped on any device on the market, which they claim is 2 times faster which will be leveraged by the Pure Motion HD + which is capable of recording 1080p recording. We’ve also got a 2,000mAh battery, NFC, integrated wireless charging based on the Qi standard and an 8-megapixel rear facing camear. The display packs WXGA (1,280 x 768) resolution, is 25 percent brighter than the next best panel on the market and it’s the fastest LCD that Nokia has ever shipped on a smartphone.
The Nokia 920 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 running at 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM and 32GB of on board storage.
