Those looking to get a new device may want to take a look at the Nexus 9, Galaxy Note Edge, HTC Desire Eye and HTC Re. These are all launching soon!
The Nexus 9 is an amazing tablet, and we have all been waiting to finally be able to purchase it. Today is your lucky day, guys! The Nexus 9 is now available from the Google Play Store. Best Buy also happens to have it available for in-store pickup, and Amazon should follow suit with availability soon.
Just in case you are not familiar with the tablet, let us tell you it is a clear winner. Specs include an 8.9-inch 2048×1536 screen, an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of internal storage, 8MP/1.6MP cameras and a 6700 mAh battery.
Opinion: Full availability should be reached soon. Meanwhile, early adopters can rush in and get their own tablets as soon as today! Who is signing up for one?
If what you want is a smartphone that also doubles as a tablet, you will be glad to know the iconic Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has also received a release date announcement. You will be able to purchase this “phablet” starting November 14th.
The trick here is that price and exact availability will vary depending on carriers or retailers. For example, AT&T will have it on November 17th. And it won’t be cheap at $949.99 off-contract!
Opinion: The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge may be a super geeky and (arguably) awesome device, but I seriously doubt it is worth nearly a grand. It’s over-priced, but AT&T probably just really wants you to buy it on-contract.
HTC’s latest devices are a couple of the most interesting products I have seen in a while. The HTC Desire Eye sports awesome cameras and specs that definitely don’t belong in the Desire line-up. Meanwhile, the HTC Re is a very unique wearable camera.
Want to buy them? It turns out you won’t need to wait much longer. AT&T has just announced they will be offering both products starting November 7th (the same day as the HTC One M8 for Windows).
The Desire Eye will go for $549.99 off-contract or $149.99 on a w-year contract. The Re camera will still go for $200, but AT&T will let you have it for $150 if you buy it with the Desire Eye.
Opinion: I must say the Desire Eye is a very interesting phone. Overall, it is an awesome product, and so is the Re. The phone will be great for selfie lovers, that is for sure.
