The Moto 360 may not be as expensive as we thought it would be! Also, those who have been following the LG G3 news may find the other two stories interesting.
Motorola has disclosed that the Moto 360’s suggested retail value is $249! The manufacturer was probably forced to spill the beans, as this information was released in the terms of a contest they are running. The Moto 360 would be the grand prize for the winner of this watch-face design contest.
No other details were disclosed, but this is pretty big news for Moto 360 fans.
Opinion: I must say that I am shocked. I never thought the Moto 360 would carry a price any lower than $300, and I was expecting it to be higher than that. This will be a complete hit if this price is right. I will seriously be the first in line!
It seems we are not the only ones talking about the LG G3 all the time. The company is holding internal meetings on the device and a stealthy ninja was able to sneak a camera into one of them! We get a full look at the device, as well as the specs. What are we looking at, here?
Well, the device’s rumored specs seem to be right on target. That 5.5-inch QHD IPS display is on board. So is Android 4.4 KitKat, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and 13MP/2.1MP cameras. And don’t forget that 3000 mAh battery, which should keep your device running for quite some time.
Opinion: Not many new discoveries here, but at least we are getting some confirmation of the rumored specs. What I want to see is what they have done in terms of new features and UI changes, really.
A 5.5-inch screen will equate to no small device. Just how much bigger will the LG G3 be, compared to its competition, though? We have gotten the full list of specs and details above, and now we can tell you exactly how one-hand-friendly LG’s upcoming flagship will be.
In fact, the guys at Android Police have mocked up a very nice image to show you! It puts the LG G3 next to the the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8, taking their relative sizes into account. As you can see, the device is not that much bigger than its competitors, all thanks to that amazingly thin bezel!
Opinion: Thin bezels, software buttons and no unnecessary empty space. The LG G3 seems to be the dream when it comes to compacted design. I am really itching to try this bad boy now.
