How many more LG G3 leaks and teasers will we get before May 27th? Samsung might also have a little secret up its sleeve. Also, you may be able to get your Oppo Find 7a replaced.
Many cringe when they hear of a 5.5-inch smartphone. Surely, this is one device to keep in large pockets, hold with two hands and look ridiculous while on a call. People automatically think about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for example. That is one huge device!
LG wants to let you know the G3 is unlike the others, though. They have just released a teaser video revolving around this topic. The bezel should be so small that you will “forget it’s a 5.5-inch smartphone”.
Opinion: I have been impressed by the G3’s bezel (or lack thereof). It certainly looks like it wastes very little space, which is something other manufacturers need to learn how to do.
Standalone smartwatches may look amazing in 80’s science fiction movies, but the few attempts at releasing one haven’t been successful. Such devices have been received with little interest, but Samsung is willing to bet on this form-factor once again.
There’s new rumors of such a device coming from Samsung sometime this summer, which is relatively soon! We can also expect it to come with Tizen, a SIM card slot, GPS, WiFi and everything else you will find in a smartphone.
Opinion: I believe smartwatches could make great feature phones, but they wouldn’t offer a great experience as a full-fledged smartphone. Past attempts have failed, and I believe this one will too.
Is your Oppo Find 7a screen a little odd? You may very well have one of Oppo’s faulty devices. The company has announced there is a common issue with the Find 7a, in which some screens have a yellowing problem along the bottom part of the display.
Oppo has stated this is due to that section of the panel emitting more light. They have offered to test your devices and exchange them (if needed). There was also an issue with the Find 7 having some yellowing problems, but that one was fixed with an OTA update.
Opinion: I always find it annoying when these things happen, but at least we know Oppo is taking care of its mistakes. Make sure you get this taken care of!
