Lots of HTC news come in as the company teases its upcoming phone and gets ready to update a current version. We also take a look at a neat DIY project for LG G Watch R owners.
HTC UK is giving us a little teaser for its upcoming flagship device, the HTC One M9. There is no longer any doubt that the One M9 will be the main protagonist at HTC’s March 1st event in Barcelona, but this is the first time we get direct word from the manufacturer.
The teaser is an image of what seems like a flower, and it reads: “let them share”. This is followed by “The new HTC One”. Not much of a mystery there!
Opinion: Now all we have to find out is whether all those rumors are true or not. What do you think? I am waiting eagerly for this phone. I’m a current HTC One M8 user and can’t wait to see what improvements the next iteration will bring.

Many of us Verizon HTC One M8 users are wondering just when our devices wll be updated to Lollipop. HTC mentioned they ran across some issues and weren’t going to make that 90-day update guarantee. This is fine, but we had no idea on when it was actually coming.
HTC Product Manager Mo Versi took it to Twitter to shed some light on the matter. As it turns out, the update is in the lave and approval is expected during the first week of March. The update should roll out very soon after that.
Opinion: Finally! We have been seeing the new update reach every device and even other HTC One M8 versions out there. Such are the issues of sticking with a carrier like Verizon, I guess.
That new LG G Watch Urbane the company just announced sure looks good! It’s metal body is sure to make many a mouth drool, and it will also make many of you very upset about buying current Android Wear smart watches. Buyer’s remorse is very real, and if you are feeling it we may have a good solution.
Google+ user Anthony took it upon himself to turn his LG G Watch R into an Urbane. After all, the watches look pretty similar, with only minor differences around the device. All he had to do is grab some fin sand paper and get rid of the black paint covering the device. Take a look at what the result looks like!
Opinion: Who would have thought there was a G Watch Urbane hiding under there. See what I mean? Change the material and the watch can look a thousand times better, even if it’s pretty much the same!
