Hot new apps are showing up all the time and we want to make sure you don’t miss a single one! Here are some of the most exciting ones we have seen this week.
By the way, we plan to make these new app posts more often, so come by more often to see what you could have otherwise missed. You can also follow us on Facebook, Google+ or Twitter to stay up to date on all our content. Without further ado – let’s get appy.
This is pure testament Facebook is dedicated to mobile, as this is not really an application that directly advertises the social network. It does use Facebook, but in a way that is convenient and smart.
In a nutshell, this is pretty much a smarter dialer for Android. Hello connects with Facebook to get better caller ID details, including birthday info and other Facebook information. It also makes it easier for you to block numbers.
And if this wasn’t enough, Hello also integrates Facebook business accounts. You can easily search for a restaurant and get directions or make a call. This service is linked with Facebook services, so you can even opt to contact your contacts via Messenger or Facebook calls.
Pretty convenient right? You should at least give it a try. Facebook mentions that our phones are very smart, but can be pretty dumb when performing basic tasks like making calls. It’s totally true.
Mortal Combat X reaches the Google Play Store
It has been a few weeks since iOS users were graced by the intense graphics and bloody fights of Mortal Kombat X. It was only this week that it hit the Google Play Store, though, which makes this quite a significant event for fans of the popular franchise.
It’s one of those games you really do have to download and try, so go get it!
Ever wondered if old offensive things you have shared to social networks will come back to haunt you? Those who want to clear these negative actions will have to spend hours going through their profiles, deleting everything individually… or they can download Clear!
This iOS app goes through your profiles, finding anything that it deems offensive and showing giving you the option to delete it. It currently supports Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Hopefully more services can be added later, but do keep in mind Clear is still in beta.
You can get the application from the Apple App Store right now, but it won’t do much if you are not signed up yet. You need to get on a waitlist; and a pretty long one, at that. Go get in line at the Clear website!
