The new second generation Moto G was just officially announced just a few hours ago, but fortunately we have already managed to get our hands on the full retail packaging to show you guys exactly what you can expect in the box from Motorola. Read on for a full unboxing vid.
Watch our buddy Roland open up the 2nd gen Moto to show you exactly what you are getting for your 179 Euros.
The Moto G is a really affordable entry to the 5 inch smartphone segment and is the follow up device to the popular and acclaimed original 4.5 inch Moto G. The larger 720p IPS screen however doesn’t really change the overall size of the device which features really thin bezels which improve the overall screen to body ratio. The hardware includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system-on-chip, 1GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB of storage depending on model and dual SIM cards, a feature I particularly enjoy – allowing you to use both domestic and foreign SIM cards when traveling.
The retail package, as you would expect is extremely minimal, the same as we saw with the previous generation device. In fact, the Motorola G packaging has to be one of the most minimalistic we have ever seen, reflecting the companies goal of offering a strong entry-level device at the lowest possible price point – in this case 179 Euros.
