IFA is right around the corner and all manufacturers are readying their biggest guns to come to battle.
Motorola has just released a new teaser for an event the company is hosting this September 4th. While this falls on the same dates as IFA, the announcement won’t take place in Berlin. Instead, the manufacturer has decided to launch its new products in Chicago.
What can we expect? The animation gives us a few clues on what could be coming. It seems there will be a successor to the Moto X, possibly the highly-rumored Moto X+1. The animation also displays a circular watch, meaning we will probably get some news of the Moto 360. The other two images in the animation show a Moto G successor and what seems like a bluetooth headset.
Opinion: Stay tuned for September 4th to learn all the details. Let’s hope they finally decide to release the Moto 360!
ASUS may have shown up in the list of Android Wear partners, but so far they have been a bit quiet about their participation in this movement. Recent reports say the company won’t stay in the dark for long.
ASUS is hoping to announce its Android Wear device as soon as September, at IFA. At least this is what Asustek CEO Jerry Shen said at an investor conference today. Everything seems to have been cleared by Google and the company is ready to roll!
Opinion: Previous rumors say ASUS’ Android Wear device will cost $99-$149, making it the most affordable option around. If ASUS can stick to this price range, its device is all but guaranteed to succeed.
Wondering what Samsung will be showing off at its September 3rd event? We know the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will more than likely be there. We have seen some specs leaked, but here are more details from Indonesian retailer erafone.
Of course, that QHD (2560x1440p) Super AMOLED display is there, as well as the rumored 16 MP camera. Other specs include a Snapdragon 805 processor (or Exynos 54333) and 4 GB of RAM.
Opinion: These specs mostly go in line with what we have seen rumored in the past. Regardless, we know the phone will be powerful, let’s just hope its build quality is no lackluster.
