Our fellow lady geeks will agree that finding the right wearable can be a challenge for women. These smart watches can be huge… even the small ones. So what gives? Well, today we are showing you a wearable device made specifically with women in mind.
The MIRA is small, fashionable, simple to use and full of features. It’s a simple metallic band that houses a little display, which, by the way, can be removed and clipped in your clothing. You know, just in case it doesn’t match your coat or something.
When worn, the device will give you the time, but other than that it is actually a little limited. This is because the MIRA is not exactly a smart watch. It’s more of a fitness tracker… a very good looking fitness tracker.
The device measures your activity all day long, giving you information on steps, burn, distance, elevation and more. The one issue we found is that it doesn’t actually track sleep, which is quite a shame. Other than that, it’s a great little device.
The application tracks your whole activity and allows you to customize your information to add things like yoga sessions. The app even gives you inspiration boosts and fitness tips throughout the day. Maybe you need to walk a little faster, or go up and down more stairs. Whatever the case may be, MIRA is letting you know what you need more of.
We had a fun experience with it, so we thought we should share it with you. Here’s our live coverage from CES 2015. Enjoy!
