We have given the LG Watch Urbane a very close and hard look the past couple weeks, but today we find ourselves in Barcelona for Mobile World Congress and we are finally taking a look at the latest and greatest from LG. Let’s show you what this watch is all about!
LG Watch Urbane specs
- Android Wear 5.0
- 1.3-inch 320x320p P-OLED display
- 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
- 512 MB of RAM
- 4 GB of internal storage
- 410 mAh battery
Right off the bat you can tell this will be a very capable smart watch, but ultimately it is bound to be just another Android Wear device. All Android Wear devices are really about the same in software and performance, so LG had to do something different… and that, they did.
The LG G Watch Urbane is possibly the best-looking Android Wear device to date. As you can see in the video, it even looks better than the LG G Watch R, which is already known for its good looks. It’s a subjective matter, but we can all at least agree that you can’t find many smart watches that look this good.
The metallic body really feels much more premium than what we are used to seeing. It’s, for all intents and purposes, what we would call a proper watch… for both geeks and fashion enthusiasts.
Availability will be announced within the next couple months. Sadly, we have no idea what the price will be like, but our own Sascha predicts it will cost around $300, which makes total sense.
Enjoy our first look at the LG Watch Urbane! And tell us, guys. Are you thinking of buying one of these?
