LG teases its upcoming flagship while Jawbone is announcing its latest wearables. We also have a sweet Chromecast deal for you!
It seems there won’t be much to announce by the time April 28th comes around. LG keeps giving us a steady stream of revelations about its upcoming flagship. Today, the Korean manufacturer is officially confirming something we had seen in leaks before.
LG is teasing a new “vegetable-tanned lather cover” for the LG G4. The message comes accompanied by an image of a woman holding the device.
Opinion: Boy… this looks gorgeous! I hope they release a wooden cover. I swear I am seriously considering getting one just for its aesthetics.
It’s no wonder Jawbone has become a leader in fitness trackers. Not only are their products simple, elegant and convenient, but they usually do a bit more than they are expected to. Today the wearable manufacturer has a couple products to show the world, the Up2 and Up4.
The Jawbone Up2 is affordable and small. It fits into your wrist seamlessly and feels super light at only 25 grams. The price is set at $99.99, which is a good deal for a product that can track your activity, sleep and even your food intake (this part is manual).
Now, the Up4 is the king here. Aside from featuring all the activity tracking services you could ask for, it can even be used for wireless payments. Simply tap your fitness band on American Express-supported contactless payment systems and be on your way. You can have it for $199 starting this summer.
Opinion: Now, this makes more sense as a wallet replacement. These bands last days on a single charge, and they happen to be accessories you are supposed to wear 24/7, so you won’t be caught forgetting it.
As if the Chromecast wasn’t already cheap enough, Groupon is giving you a reason to impulsively spend a bit of cash. The deal-focused website is selling Google’s HDMI dongle for only $20, a pretty good offer considering the retail price is $35.
Opinion: The deal is only up for 4 more days and they have sold over 5000 units, so I would probably act fast if I were you. You really can’t go wrong with a Chromecast. I swear it has been the best-spent $35 in years.
