LG brings a couple new affordable devices to market. Meanwhile The next Windows version may be coming soon and Swing Copters has just launched.
LG knows not everyone needs the fastest, biggest or strongest smartphones. Their new smartphones are targeted at first-time smartphone users, packing modest specs, 3G speeds and a good build.
The LG L Fino is a smaller 4.5-inch device with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the LG L Bello is graced with a larger 5.0-inch display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM.
Both devices will launch starting this month, in key 3G markets. The device will first launch in Latin America, followed by Europe, Asia and CIS.
Opinion: The key to these devices’ success is on the price, as they are far from being the powerful smartphones we all want. Judging by the specs these should come with a very low price, though.
Windows 8.1 has its fans, but we can’t deny the touch-focused software is a bit confusing to many users. With Windows 9, Microsoft is said to back off on the touch functions a bit, something we might see more of next month, if the latest rumors are true.
The Verge’s sources say Microsoft is set to unveil Windows 9 (codenamed Threshold) on September 30th. An early preview will become available for developers this day. Upcoming features and changes are unknown, but it’s said this version of Windows will come with Cortana.
Opinion: Will Windows 9 succeed where Windows 8 couldn’t? It all depends on how Microsoft implements every detail of the OS. One thing is for sure, though. You really can’t please everyone.
Ready to reach your highest point of frustration this week? Angry Birds developer Dong Nguyen has just released a new game! Swing Copters is equally hard (if not harder) and nerve wrecking.
The game consists of you trying to get a helicopter character up a series of obstacles. The hard part is that you have to swing the character from left to right. Movements are sudden and flying spaces are tight.
Opinion: My weekend has officially been ruined….
