LG is no longer playing around. Neither is HBO, but it seems Nikon may still be having too much fun.
You thought the Samsung Galaxy S6’s f/1.9 aperture was impressive? LG is here to take things to the next level with the LG G4. They have just released a commercial that showcases the next flagship’s camera prowess. This thing will come with an f/1.8 camera.
Oh, it’s also cool that LG has now stopped playing around. They are no longer teasing their “upcoming flagship” or talking about “the great”. They have come out and said this is all about the LG G4, which we will see on April 28th.
Opinion: If you don’t know what these f-words mean, it’s pretty much all about camera aperture. The smaller the number, the more open the lense’s diaphragm opens to let light in. This means the camera should perform better in low-light environments, without having to make the picture as noisy or blurry.
You didn’t think Game of Thrones would start without HBO Now launching, right? I mean come on, it seems they aligned this just to make the most profit. And we can’t forget Silicon Valley is also coming back! Either way, today’s hot news is that HBO Now has finally reached Apple TV, as promised.
There’s an app for Apple TV, as well as an official application for iOS. This means this won’t be exclusive to Apple TV users! Even those with iPads and iPhones can join in by paying a $14.99 subscription fee.
Opinion: I am signing up… like, today! How about you guys?
Selfies are inevitable, but the aberration that selfie sticks are can only spark in the minds of crazy third-party manufacturers trying to make some extra cash. Or at least that is what we thought, because Nikon is marching in with its very own selfie stick.
While it will be photo-friendly, it’s name is not as welcoming. This thing is called the Nikon N-MP001, and it’s pretty much a backwards monopod with a movable head. It only supports Nikon’s Coolpix point-and-shoot series, including the S6900, L32, AW130, S33, S7000, S3700 and S9900.
Opinion: The price is set at $59.95, which is not really bad for an official product. Not to mention, it looks like a much higher quality selfie stick compared to your usual ones. If you are really about your selfies, it might be a good investment.
