LG’s latest video sheds light on the G3’s awesome design. Meanwhile, Sony is releasing a cool little smartphone in the USA and Xiaomi is offering awesome deals.
When showing off a phone, we often see manufacturers touting their amazing attention to details and design. We see these videos often, and LG is now going at it with the LG G3: Design Story promotional video.
LG focuses on the fact the device feels much smaller than other 5.5-inch smartphones, as well as the materials and shape of the phone. Of course, we can’t forget that metallic skin! LG also touts its new UI design, which is simpler and flatter.
Opinion: Those who know me know I have become a big LG fan. I love what they have done with their latest flagship smartphones, and the G3 seems much more impressive than all the predecessors.
To everyone’s surprise, the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact has officially made it to the USA via Sony’s website. The device can be had for $549.99, off contract and unlocked. Why is it we are so excited, though? This turns out to be the best option for those looking for a powerful, yet small device.
It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, amazing cameras and a great build quality. This is something very rare for a phone with a 4.3-inch display. Nowadays, small devices tend to be mid or low-end products.
Opinion: I happen to love what Sony is doing with the Z1 Compact, and would definitely recommend this device to the right user. I know a lot of users who opt for lesser specs just to have a smaller device!
Those looking for a good deal may be happy to see what Xiaomi has for you. The Xiaomi Mi2S is now available for only 1299 Yuan, which is about $209 USD. The affordable smartphone carries a 4.3-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and even a 13 MP camera.
Opinion: The device is a bit updated and there are good options for the same price. It could be a good option if you like the smartphone’s looks, though.
