The Lenovo YOGA 3 Pro may be an amazing laptop, but many of you will find the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro to be a much more interesting device. This is not only a powerful and fun tablet, but it also features a built-in pico projector, something you won’t often find in a tablet.
We were live at the launch event and got the chance to experience the device first-hand. It looks and feels just like other YOGA tablets, but this time the manufacturer has pushed away from the traditional sizes and made this a 13.3-inch device.
Of course, this is also no usual tablet display. It has a QHD (2560x1440p) panel that will blow you away. Let’s take a look at the specs to see what else you will find inside this bad boy.
Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro specs
- 13.3-inch QHD (2560x1440p)
- Intel Atom processor
- 2 GB of RAM
- 32 GB of internal storage
- 8MP/1.6MP cameras
- Up to 15 hours of battery life
It seems the Intel processor can really handle this tablet and screen resolution like a pro. There are no slow-downs or hiccups with this device, proving Intel is really ready to take on the Android and high-end tablet market.
I happen to love the aluminum construction and form-factor this tablet features. The built-in kickstand is really something more manufacturers should start adopting, especially as devices keep growing in size.
As for the projector, it is definitely not a bad one. It does only feature a 720p resolution, but it’s a great way to enjoy and share your content. The projector can display an image of up to 50 inches, so it’s definitely no slouch.
Android may not be your OS of choice for a device with so much functionality and power, but it’s a great device to have for €499. It’s launching towards the end of October, so you have some time to think about it. Who is thinking of signing up for one for these?
