As mobile and the automotive industries continue to merge, you will start seeing more car coverage in our site. After all… cars are mobile! All jokes aside, though, our team just came back from Le Mans 2014 and now we are at Nordschleife, taking a look at the hottest and fastest cars in the world.
Le Mans 2014
Taking place last weekend, during June 14-15, the Le Mans 24-hour racing event turned out to be quite a success. We got to play around with a Safety Car and checked out the tracks. We also spent some time with the super powerful Audi R18 e-tron quattro (LMP1), one of the most important cars of the legendary race.
In fact, Audi R18 e-tron quattro prototypes got 1st and 2nd place, which wasn’t surprising, but it was quite an eventful race. As part of our sponsor’s deal, we also got to use the LG G3 as the main camera for the event. We must say we were quite impressed with the images we were able to capture, which we will show you right below.
You can see more images at our LG G3 Le Mans post, or get all the details about the event from our German site!
Now that we are done with Le Mans, it’s time to get to a new 24-hour race. We are back in Germany for the Nordschleife 2014 event and we are ready to roll. What makes this event special is that we are no longer seeing top-of-the-line inaccessible cars. These are near-standard models you can find in the streets!
For example, we have the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT, the Porsche 911 Turbo S, the BMW M235i and the Nissan GT-R Black Edition.
