We are getting yet another look at the Droid Turbo! All while, new products from Alienware and Google are hitting the streets.
There is no lack of Droid Turbo leaks and rumors, that’s for sure. The device has been showing up all over the internet recently, and today we are getting a quick look at it thanks to awesome comedian James Franco.
In this seemingly natural video James Franco is riding around in a bike when approached by some ladies recording a video. He goes on to disappear and then re-appear. Then he takes off unexpectedly, and very fast.
Opinion: Of course, his speed is reference to the Turbo moniker, and we are expecting the device to be very fast and powerful too. You only get to see the Motorola Droid Turbo for a hot second, so give the video a look.
Some say Alienware is the master of gaming computers, while others say they simply sell a brand and over-price their product. Regardless of what you think, though, you can’t deny they make some badass computers.
The newest addition to the Alienware family is a hexagonal computer named Area 51. It is a powerhouse that ships with Intel Haswell 6 and 8-core processors, your choice between SSD and HHD, and three powerful GPU cards inside.
The new computer can be ordered tomorrow starting at $1699, so it will definitely be not cheap… as you expected.
Opinion: What makes this tower (or pyramid) unique is not only its raw power and performance. The shape of the computer is very different. And not in the Mac Pro kind of way, it’s actually quite large and the shape is meant to give you easier access. In this case, the cool looks also make it a better case.
The Nexus Player is hot in the smart TV market right now. The new product is the first to launch with Android TV and everyone is going nuts about it. It’s also important to note it has great Android gaming features, though, and the Gamepad for Nexus Player will make that experience even better.
Gamers around the US will be happy to know the Gamepad is finally available from the Google Play Store. It costs $39.99 and leaves the warehouse in 3-4 weeks. Go get it, guys!
Opinion: Android is a great gaming platform, it just needs support. We can be sure more support for better games will come once/if Android TV becomes more popular. That is the complicated part, though, taking Android TV to a certain level of popularity. And we all know the Search Giant wasn’t great at that with Google TV….
