Huawei is bringing its goodies to MWC, Microsoft flexes its muscles with the Windows 10 preview and the Nexus Player is set to come to retail stores soon.
HTC Won’t be the only one showing off its latest gadgets on March 1st. Huawei has decided to join them with an announcement of its own. The show starts at 3 PM GTM+1, and you can be sure we will be there getting you all the goodies.
What could we be seeing in Barcelona? Well, rumors of a MediaPad X2 and a Huawei P8 are rolling around the rumor mill. We are not sure, though. Huawei does say the announcement involves “surprises that will empower you to set your dreams free”.
Opinion: Huawei has been doing a great job lately, so I am pretty curious to see what this is all about. I mean, you need to be pretty confident to have your announcement right next to one of the best Android manufacturers in the world.
The Windwos 10 Technical Preview is out and many of you are about to jump in for a treat. The new preview comes with all the features we heard about during the last Windows 10 event. This includes Cortana integration, the continuum tablet interface, an improved Start Menu and the brand new Xbox app.
You get the whole deal, but we are most excited about Cortana and the new Xbox app. What would be nice is to see Xbox One game streaming, but that will come later in the year, along with the Project Spartan browser.
Opinion: How many of you will be downloading the Windows 10 preview? You can get it straight from Windows’ website.
The Google Play Store is cool and all, but we know having more options is always best. Not to mention, seeing and testing a device in a physical store is never beat by online retailers.
Multiple reports have been spreading across the internet, marking the Nexus Player’s first steps out of its home store. The device has been seen at Newegg and Walmart, which also means it will arrive at both online and retail locations.
As expected, the device will continue being sold at $99, which is one hell of a price for an Android TV.
Opinion: I don’t know about you, but I like testing a product that you will invest time and money on. Buying a new smart TV system is no small commitment.
