We are getting all up on some devices at Huawei’s Beijing event, where the company announced a new phone along with the Honor 6 Plus. The Huawei Honor Spree 4X is a dual-SIM handset that may not be a powerhouse like its bigger brother, but it definitely packs some great specs under its hood.
Let’s take a look at all the details before we jump into our first impressions. You sure don’t want to miss any of the specs packed inside this phone.
Huawei Honor Spree 4X specs
- Android 4.4
- 5.5-inch 720p IPS LCD
- 64-bit Kirin620 processor
- 2 GB of RAM
- 8 GB of internal storage
- 13 MP rear-facing camera
- 5 MP front-facing camera
- 3000 mAh battery
- dual-SIM compatibility
The phone is actually meant to be more of a mide-end device. Though its specs look great on paper, that doesn’t exactly translate to pristine performance. Something you can really tell when you run a benchmark. This is not to say the device isn’t great, though.
The Huawei Honor Spree 4X will please many users. Especially if you like your dual-SIM capabilities. While its numbers are not amazing, the device seems to run very well. It also looks and feels relatively solid in the hand, even though it’s made of plastic.
You also get Honor’s Emotion UI, which means you get that cartoon-like design. We are not huge fans of the UI, but it may rock your boat if you like a more playful experience.
We only took a quick look, but this seems like a good option to consider if you are in the market for a new mid-end smartphone with a good price. Do keep in mind this phone is meant for the Chinese market, though. It definitely wouldn’t surprise me if it doesn’t ever reach other markets.
Enjoy the video and let us know if this phone is in your list of options for your next smartphone purchase!
