Huawei is looking to make a name for them selves in the Smartphone game, their latest offering is the Android powered Honor 2 with a 4.5 inch display and a display resolution of 1280 x 720and a pixel density of 326ppi.
Under the hood you’ll find Huawei’s K3V2 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It’s impressive that Huawei is making their own processors, which will give them a deeper understanding of hardware development. If you look at the ecosystem all the major players engineer their own chips. It’s not an easy road, everyone is having head issues with their Quad Core processors so it’s no surprise that it’s taken these guys a little longer than originally anticipated to roll out Quad core devices.
If you’re after additional specifications the Honor 2 has 8GB internal memory with a microSD card slot for expansion. On the back is an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording.
The Huawei Honor 2 will be releasing in China later this week for 1,888 yuan ($302).
