HTC is full of news today, as they bring an awesome update to their DotView app and release a couple devices in India. We also just caught a glimpse of a new Motorola device!
The HTC DotView case was already awesome, but it just got a bit better with the latest update to the DotView app. Users can now place and manage wallpapers for their DotView experience! It actually looks quite amazing and is easy to manage. You can even add your own images.
Users can now also redial the last 3 calls, as well as seeing other notifications when swiping left and right. Go ahead and get the update from the Google Play Store if you haven’t. This HTC DotView case is getting better with every update.
Opinion: I never thought I would be so proud of purchasing a $50 case. I haven’t looked back once, as it offers features unlike I have ever seen before.
Those looking for a new HTC device in India can now take a look at the Desire 616 and the One E8. The Desire 616 brings forth mid-end specs and a fair construction for an enticing price point. For just 16,900 Rupees you get a 5-inch 720p display, a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8MP/2MP cameras, 4 GB of internal storage and a 2000 mAh battery.
If what you are looking for is something more powerful, the HTC One E8 is pretty much like a One M8 without the metal construction. It sports a 5-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13MP/5MP cameras and a 2600 mAh battery. All for the price of 34,990 Rupees (about $582 USD).
Opinion: Whether you are looking for something affordable or high-end, these devices will not disappoint. HTC has been manufacturing like a boss lately!
TK Tech News has great sources and gets his hand on awesome upcoming devices, even if these are often covered in plastic (or tape in this case). This time they got a hold of some images of a Motorola device that is larger than both the Nexus 5 and the Moto X.
We are not sure what it could be, but it is running on Android L and Verizon’s network. This is making us suspect it could be one of the upcoming “DROID” smartphones, but it could be anything, really. The TK Tech News will be flying over to get a better look at it, so stay tuned for more!
Opinion: This test device may be a great option for those looking to get a large smartphone. The screen looks pretty massive, so we could definitely be onto something here.
